I actually painted two paintings today but decided to rework the other a bit in the morning. I was striving for just the right tone in the background here and more texture on the vase.
I'm a recent graduate of Georgetown Atelier in Seattle, Washington and have just started to compile a new body of work. Much of what you see here prior to 2022 is older work and hopefully you'll note an improvement. Because I paint both in Contemporary Alla Prima (fast small and larger works) and polished realism, both categories are listed as tabs beneath this section. Stay tuned. I'm a work in progress.

Hi Susan, I find it incredible that you can do two paintings of this quality in one day!! I would take a week of sweating to get something like this to anywhere near your expertise. Lovely stuff.
Thanks Liz. When I first started it would take me all day to do a 5" x 7"! After two years, things have speeded up a little.:-)
