"Crackle Glass Pitcher"

Sorry for not having posted in the last few days. A major snow storm left us without power for two days and the illness and subsequent death of a beloved pet had our home in turmoil. It's snowing again and so before the power crashes yet again, I'm posting this while I still can.

This little crackle glass pitcher was left to me by my mom. It sits about four inches high and has a very lovely finish that catches the light in an interesting way. I don't use it for much but it's lovely character serves well as its primary function. I hope you like it as much as I.

Hi. Remember this? "Polishing Day". It's a pastel.
I thought with the holiday coming up, it was fitting.
Nary a holiday went by at home without first a polishing day. Wednesday at my house, my sister or I polished the silver. This pastel was done some time ago. It's still hanging around. But I'm taking Wednesday and Thursday off as I'll be traveling to be with family so there's no time for a new painting today or tomorrow. Have a wonderful holiday and I'll be back on Friday with a new goodie for you. Susan

"Glass Doorknob Wine Cork"
Click here to purchase this painting by e-mail.

Remember these? This glass doorknob was made into a wine bottle cork and I couldn't resist getting it. The house I grew up in had then on every door. This oil painting is done in a realist style with a contemporary feel.

To purchase this item for $39, email me.

Another favorite, this green Ball glass jar sits on my studio shelf loaded with brushes and ready to work. With transparent glass and reflections, this little painting has a nice contemporary feel.

"Cut Apples"
To purchase for $39, e-mail me.

I found these apples on a walk not far from my home. For crab apples, they looked very tasty. At the very least, good enough to paint!

"Spent Roses"
To purchase for $39, e-mail me.

These colorful roses were painted with luscious loads of paint and are as colorful today as when they were fresh. I love roses. And romance. And roses.

"A Bend in the Road"
To purchase for $39, e-mail me.

This plein air painting was completed not far from where I live. The Discovery Trail is a 26 mile trail that winds its way through meadow and forest from Port Angeles, WA to Sequim, WA. It's contrast, style and color lend make it ideal for all decors.

This little plein air was painted off a trail not far from where I live. Living where I do, I'm surrounded by water, it's difficult to ignore.

"Old Friends"
Click here to purchase for $39.00.

I like old comfortable things. The older and more paint spattered things get around the studio, the more I insist on hanging on to them. This jar (not too dusty here), hangs around the studio as both a prop and a tool. E-mail comments welcome. Questions too.
